Educational Awards

As part of our efforts to show support to our Club Rainbow children and youths, we have introduced and given out, for the first time in April 2011, various educational awards. These awards are to recognize our beneficiaries’ progress in schools and provide the help they may need in acquiring resource materials and/or attend extra-curriculum activities. The types of award and their criteria are listed below. Parents may only select one award for their children.

Achievement: To reward students who have done exceptionally well in school. Beneficiary’s consistent good results and being in the top 10% of their cohort are the key criteria.

Progress: To reward students who have shown good progress in school. Significant improvement has to be evident in the school reports that accompany the applications.

Spirit of Learning Recognition: To reward students who have shown exceptional resilience, indomitable spirit and perseverance in their studies and CCA despite the challenges they face with regards to their chronic illnesses. Winners in this category must have a good personal story to share to motivate others at Club Rainbow and beneficiaries can only win this award ONCE.
