CORPORATE CSR PROGRAMMES

Many Club Rainbow events are made possible with the support from our Corporate Partners as part of their CSR initiatives. Your company can partner with us to improve the quality of our beneficiaries’ lives in a variety of ways, depending on the level of staff involvement.

Donations in Cash or in Kind

As an independent charity, Club Rainbow does not receive any financial help from the Government or other agencies. We rely totally on donations from philanthropic corporations and caring individuals to sustain our programmes. Each year we need to raise over $2 million to finance our mission.

We need your generous support in order to provide quality services and programmes for our beneficiaries. Club Rainbow’s IPC status enables direct monetary donations made this year to receive 2.5 times tax rebate.

To help to alleviate the financial stress of our needy families, you can donate daily necessities such as food, special-formula milk powder and diapers. These items are regularly needed by our beneficiaries and the cost of these pose a substantial financial burden to the families.

You can also donate in kind through the provision of venue, your company’s products or services. This will help to offset our event costs. For instance, Annual Party, one of our key events, typically requires transportation, door gifts and food for our beneficiaries as well as a large hall to house an attendance of 500 beneficiaries and their families.

Conduct a Fundraising Drive

You can conduct fundraising drives to help us raise awareness and funds. This can range from a simple internal fund-raising drive by pooling donations from the staff in your company, to a Charity Golf Challenge involving business partners and associates.

Co-organize an Event for our Beneficiaries

If staff involvement is part of your CSR initiatives, you can co-organize and fund activities for our beneficiaries. Activities can be social, educational, art-related or skill-based. Your staff would have an opportunity to offer their time and be a host or “buddy” to our children, youths and their families. If your staff have a special skill set or knowledge, we also welcome them to impart this to our children and youths! Call our Programme Department at 63771789 to discuss how you can contribute!

Adopt an Illness Group

If your company prefers adopting a regular group of children or youths for a series of planned activities, you can adopt one of our major illness groups. There are currently six major illness groups (Blood Disorders, Chronic Liver Disease, Congenital Heart Defects, Spina Bifida, Premature Babies and Rare Genetic Disorders) which you can adopt for at least a year. Each group consists of 30 – 70 families. Together with our staff in charge, you can fund and co-organize social activities, awareness drives and even seminars for the group. When you adopt a group, you will meet the same beneficiaries at each event, and hence the opportunity to build a meaningful friendship with them.
