With overwhelming response from the event in 2014, Nautica Fantasia is back again this year! There were more sharing, interactions and bonding amongst family members and between families. Check out what other inspirational workshops and entertaining activities which the families thoroughly enjoyed in the 4-day, 3-night cruise for Club Rainbow Family Retreat 2015!
“AHOY!” was probably the word on the minds of many, as 73 families were greeted by Asia’s largest cruise ship, Mariner of the Seas as they embarked on a relaxing 4-day, 3-night retreat on board Royal Caribbean Cruise to Port Klang. It was the first for many on board the cruise, especially the children who were fascinated by the variety of activities provided on board the ship, ranging from dining, shopping and entertainment, one key feature being the Dreamworks Experience parade.
In its 13th CRFR, 40 Club Rainbow families were split into five groups – Capteh, Marbles, Five Stones, Hop-Scotch and Gasing. The families spent four days, three nights at Holiday Inn Malacca exploring the city and getting to know one another.
The Club Rainbow Family Retreat is held annually. Each year, families are invited to an overseas trip where they will be able to come together to spend some time bonding as a family and relax. Parents are also able to take this opportunity to have some “time off” from their 24/7 duty to care for their chronically ill child.
Club Rainbow families will go on a 3 nights 4days Asia trip to a pre-selected destination where they will be able to spend quality time for themselves and their families. There will be informative activities to enhance their knowledge on caring for their children through a series of talks and workshops conducted by professional doctors, counsellors/social workers and teachers that will enable them to engage more effectively with their children upon return to Singapore.
