This year, Carlton City Hotel proudly joined Reach for Rainbow 2026, Club Rainbow (Singapore)'s annual signature fundraising event, rallying employees across departments to support children with chronic illnesses and their families.
The partnership was a natural fit. Having first learnt about Club Rainbow through industry and community networks, the team was inspired by the charity's unwavering dedication to empowering children and their families. The opportunity to participate in Reach for Rainbow allowed the hotel to translate its values into action — not only by supporting a meaningful cause, but by encouraging employees to give back together.
Led by the hotel's Marketing Communications team with strong support from management and colleagues, Carlton City Hotel embraced Reach for Rainbow as a collective effort. From collaborating with Club Rainbow's young artist Sage Tan on a special art bottle initiative to bringing together staff for the Reach for Rainbow 12km Ralk, every initiative reflected the team's belief that small acts, when carried out together, can create lasting impact.
For many employees, one of the most memorable aspects of the event was seeing colleagues from different departments unite beyond their daily roles. Training for and completing the 12km walk strengthened team spirit while reinforcing the importance of compassion, generosity and community. Despite balancing operational commitments, the team's enthusiasm, careful planning and open communication ensured that everyone had the opportunity to contribute.
Reflecting on the experience, Carlton City Hotel shared that Reach for Rainbow was both rewarding and heartwarming. More than raising funds, it brought colleagues closer together while reminding them that every step taken could help create brighter futures for the children and families supported by Club Rainbow.
