Reach for Rainbow 2026 - Every Step Forward, Together: How SYNERGY is Building a Culture of Giving

After years of supporting another charitable organisation, SYNERGY was looking for another cause where it could make a lasting difference. Club Rainbow's holistic approach to caring for not just children, but also their families, resonated deeply with the organisation's values.
"We recognise that caring for a child goes beyond addressing their medical needs — it also means empowering their families who care for them every day," the team shared. "Every child deserves hope, opportunities and a community that walks alongside them."
That shared purpose led SYNERGY to participate in Reach for Rainbow (then known as Ride & Ralk for Rainbows) in 2025. More than a fundraising campaign, it became an opportunity for colleagues, families and friends to unite behind a common cause and transform compassion into meaningful action.
Although the event was held virtually, the team made it their own by organising a company-wide 10km walk, allowing participants to complete the challenge side by side. The experience not only strengthened friendships and teamwork across the organisation, but also reinforced a powerful reminder that every step taken together could make a positive difference in the lives of Club Rainbow's children and families.
One of the most memorable moments was witnessing participants encourage one another throughout the journey. Despite different fitness levels and walking paces, everyone supported each other from start to finish, embodying the spirit of inclusion and unity that Reach for Rainbow represents.
"Community is built through shared experiences," the team reflected. "Knowing that every step contributed towards Club Rainbow's children and families made the journey even more meaningful."
As they prepare for Reach for Rainbow 2026, SYNERGY hopes to welcome even more participants and continue strengthening its partnership with Club Rainbow. More importantly, the organisation hopes to inspire others to step forward in support of children and families who need encouragement, hope and care.
